- AAUW American Fellow and primatologist Mary Blair has been working hard to foster diversity in the field of biology.
- AAUW hosted a meeting for directors of collegiate women’s leadership organizations to discuss their programs and help prepare for the future.
- Meryl Streep’s award-winning turn as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady gave viewers a chance to appreciate Thatcher as a strong female leader, even if her politics aren’t necessarily feminist.
