Merlin Stone was an amazing woman who helped many women in the 70’s and 80’s re-discover their feminine roots and begin the long road to reclaiming the power that was systematically stripped from them over years of patriarchal disempowerment. Her book “When God Was A Woman” helped reacquaint women with their lost heritage of a long line of goddesses from the dawn of time, and the sacredness of woman. Hers is a legacy of empowerment and awakening for women and should be honored and remembered by all women.
